These terms were self-authored to accurately describe the contractual relationship between PerpLog and you. They are not a substitute for individual legal advice.
These Terms of Service govern your use of PerpLog ("the Service"), operated by Julien Fitzlaff, Mommsenstr. 22, 10629 Berlin, Germany.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use PerpLog.
PerpLog is a trading journal for Bybit and Hyperliquid perpetual futures. The Service provides:

To sync your trading data, you connect your Bybit account via API key. You acknowledge that:
PerpLog offers two tiers:
Free — Core journaling features, trade sync, basic statistics. Limited AI features (3 trade analyses and 3 coach insights per month).
Pro — All features including AI analysis (200 trade analyses, 100 data questions, 8 weekly summaries, 50 batch reviews, and 100 coach insights per month), advanced reports, and priority support. Priced at €19/month or €190/year.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing or feature allocation with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until the end of the billing period.
Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:
You can manage your subscription and payment methods through the Settings page, which redirects to the Stripe Customer Portal.
As a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. To exercise this right, send a clear statement (e.g., email) to: support@perplog.app
If you have used the Service during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
We strive to keep PerpLog available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime due to factors beyond our control (hosting provider outages, Bybit API changes, etc.). We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
You retain full ownership of all content you create in PerpLog (journal entries, notes, reviews, tags). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Your content is only accessible to you and is not shared with other users or third parties (except when you explicitly use AI features).
PerpLog is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of trade data synchronized from your exchange.
We are not liable for: trading losses or missed opportunities, inaccuracies in synchronized data, decisions made based on PerpLog analytics or AI analysis, actions taken by third-party services (Bybit, Stripe, AI providers).
Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for PerpLog in the 12 months preceding the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, or where limitation is prohibited by law.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your data (personal information, trade data, journal entries, API keys) is permanently removed. Active subscriptions are cancelled upon account deletion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity.
PerpLog is a solo-developer-operated SaaS. In the unlikely event we permanently shut down the service, you are guaranteed the following minimum protections:
These obligations are operationalized through a documented internal runbook and survive any operator-side incapacity. Even if the development team is unavailable, the wind-down process executes via pre-prepared scripts.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For disputes with merchants (B2B), the place of jurisdiction is Berlin. For consumers, the statutory provisions on jurisdiction apply — you may sue in the courts of your habitual residence.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the original intent.
